How To Fix Matted Stuffed Animal Fur

One possibility is to trace the seams of the entire damaged piece and rip them to remove the piece.

After a wash they can lose their softness and fluffiness but don t worry. When it comes to items made of faux fur there is definitely one hard and fast rule of care. Sometimes you may have a dirty plush that you wanted to clean. Hard to know without seeing a picture sometimes people wash their stuffed animals and put them in the dryer and it crinkles or fries the plush and you can t fix that.
